This screen shows information about the selected class and allows you to add attributes. Most of the information displayed on this screen was specified when the class was created. Some of the optional attributes might have been added later.
During class creation, if the class was specified to inherit attributes from another class, the inherited attributes are classified as they are in the parent class. For instance, if Object Class is a mandatory attribute for the parent class, then it displays on this screen as a mandatory attribute for the selected class.
To view schema class information, select a class from the Available Classes drop-down menu. The following information displays:

Effective
The class is used to create objects, as opposed to a non-effective class, which is simply a placeholder for a group of attributes.
Non-Removable
Objects of this class cannot be removed by administration utilities. They must be removed by the system.
You can also add a new attribute or view a superclass.
Add a New Attribute
Click on this link to add attributes to the class. The Add Optional Attributes screen will display.
View Superclass
Click on this link to view the screen which displays the current Super Class.
Can Be Contained By
Container objects that an object of this class can be created in.
Attribute
Lists the name of all attributes associated with this class. The icon to the
left to the attribute name indicates the class that this attribute was inherited
from.
Mandatory
Indicates an attribute that requires a value when an object is created.Naming
Indicates attributes that can be used to identify an object.
ASN1 ID
Shows the unique ASN.1 identifier for the class. Change this field only if you
have an ASN.1 string that is registered by Novell® or another institution
authorized to provide registered ASN.1 identifiers.
