Installed Novell Plug-in Modules

The Installed Novell® Plug-in Modules list displays the NPMs that have been installed in iManager. iManager displays the following information about each plug-in:

Name: Specifies the plug-in's title

Local Version:Specifies the plug-in version.

Description: Provides a brief description of the plug-in.

The following tasks are available from the Content frame's task bar:

Refresh: Updates the Installed Novell Plug-in Modules list.

Uninstall: delete all components associated with a selected NPM, including: jsp files, class files, install xml, manifest file, etc. from iManager. iManager uninstalls NPMs using the InstallAnywhere program.

If RBS is configured on your tree, manually remove the related RBS objects using the Role-Based Services > RBS Configuration screen. If you do not remove the RBS objects, they might not get updated the next time you install this NPM.

The following notice appears if you log in to the RBS tree:

Deleting the objects in eDir.
Notice: Uninstall roles and tasks now.
The files for the specified NPM have been removed from the Web server.

Note: On Windows, the in-use jar files cannot be deleted. To remove these files manually, stop Tomcat, manually delete the appropriate jar files (in the .../WEB-INF/lib directory.), then restart Tomcat.
